We use natural local resources and a short transparent supply chain on our mission to teach you how clothes should be made.

Designed & Made in One Country: Peru

Contrary to industry norms, every step involved in making our clothes is done in only one country: Peru, the home of our family. Our production in Peru includes fiber sourcing, yarn spinning, fabric knitting, dyeing, finishing, and garment sewing.

From Peru, our clothes go straight to California or Europe on its journey to you.
Low Carbon Footprint

Manufacturing in one country allows us to greatly reduce our carbon footprint and freight shipping. This is a major step on our journey to becoming a carbon negative company.
Transparency & Traceability

We established our own textile production studio which means that we are not only a clothing brand but also a manufacturer. This gives us more control over the processes and ingredients used in our production, and allows us to be transparent and traceable.

A repeat customer has been born!

I’ve waited to write a review until I wore all three women’s organic pima cotton long sleeve shirts I purchased. Wanting to switch from regular cotton to organic t shirts (I live in t shirts.) and chanced upon Aya via a Google search. The t shirts are well made. The fabric is so soft, which my aging skin seemed to respond to right away. I also happen the love the neckline finish, It’s the perfect neckline opening for me, and the edging is distinctive - unlike the usual ribbed bands. At 5’5” and 125 lbs, the small fits perfectly (I prefer fitted to loose) and even the extra small I tried fits. I also purchased a tank top and will review it separately, but I love it as well. Delighted to find Aya and applaud the quality and ethical business practices. Very decent prices, too, especially for organic cotton. Kudos! I’ll be back.

incorrect description

The "white" shirt is not white, but more of a cream color. In addition it is much smaller than the other two shirts I ordered, which just barely fit. Since I'm sure they will shrink when laundered, I need to return them, but was emailed that it is not allowed now because their warehouse is closed. I am very disappointed. There should have been a warning on the order page that returns would be delayed.

Incredible Quality

The fabric is very smooth. Not your average cotton, that pills after a couple washes. I’ve never felt cotton like this before. Exceeded expectations. Also, fits like a dream, and so comfortable. Love knowing it’s natural materials. Very impressed.
