Ethics

We Care About the Wellbeing of Our People and Animals

We are well aware that we still have a long way to go with our labor ethics. We'd like for all of our employees to feel safe and comfortable in their work environment, and give them the benefits they deserve for their valuable contribution to the company.

At this moment, we are not yet a profitable brand, however, as our company grows we will be implementing new policies to improve our workers' wellbeing.

Our Brand & Production Ethics

As a brand and a manufacturer we are able to ensure that our brand ethics also apply on our garment makers.

Our Goals

We made sure that from the start everything on our end is done legally and without causing any harm. But that is not where it ends for us. We aim to:

  • For our employees: Pay living wages.
As soon as we become a profitable brand, we will upgrade our reward and benefit system to ensure all of our workers are happy in their work life, as well as in their private life.
  • For our customers: Become inclusive to every-body.
We plan to add more sizes, gender neutral clothes, and one size fits all items so that everyone can have the opportunity to wear the most sustainable clothes.

Our Suppliers

We take full responsibility for our impact on the environment, people, and animals across the whole production cycle. We make sure that each part of our supply chain, from raw materials to product disposal, do not have any negative impact on the environment and living beings.

As a brand and a clothing manufacturer, we are 100% accountable for everything that happens in our studio, where all of our garments are made. We do not contract third parties to produce our clothes.

This family-owned company, based in Lambayeque, Peru, is certified under Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), from the field to the finished garment. This certification not only guarantees the traceability of the Organic Pima Cotton, but also a fair treatment to every person involved in the production chain.

Their cotton production supports more than 160 Peruvian families, and all their products are made under Fair Trade standards.

Animals

We are currently not using any material of animal origin, and we are committed to not use any sheep wool, fur, down/feathers, angora, and exotic animal skins.

The only animal product that we plan to incorporate into our catalog by 2023, is cruelty-free Royal Alpaca Wool, ethically and sustainably sourced from small Peruvian co-op farmers, where all alpacas are non-mulesed, receive medical care, and roam free in the highlands of the Andes Mountains.

We are committed to only source materials that do not compromise animals' wellbeing.
